We had a great time staying at the chalets with Alejandro. It was a perfect escape from the bustling city of Buenos Aires. The chalet has amazing warm floors, jacuzzi baths, a beautiful hand-crafted design, and an amazing view of the Beagle Channel. Each day we we woke up overlooking the channel from our bed, and on colder mornings it was so pleasant to have a warm, cozy chalet to cook breakfast in before facing the day. At nights we watched the sun set from in front of the fire. Alejandro was the perfect host, leaving delicious homemade bread for us to eat and helping us out when we had problems with our car rental. Probably the best host we've had in all of Argentina. It was a wonderful stay!Verified O chalé é bem gostoso e quentinho. At the same time it is easy to call Uber (less than a minute wait), if you need to get to, for example, a national park. Only 10 minutes on foot and you are on the main street with restaurants or on the embankment.The house is beautiful in every sense, warm, cozy, great view, everything you need in the kitchen, if you prefer to cook at home. And boy, it did not disappoint. Alejandro is the BEST host I’ve had in 10 years using Airbnb. Also, the cabin is absolutely breathtaking. Everything was perfect, from the fresh bread, the view, the heated floor, the wonderful fireplace, to the check out flexibility. It was so so worth it and now I totally get the 5 star review on this place and the host. If you’re also deciding where to stay, look no further. Alejandro was the perfect host! Friendly, helpful and bakes delicious bread! Would absolutely recommend.Verified Alejandro’s place was such a treat for me and my mom! It was so clean, cozy and warm. The radiant heat feels great on your feet! The view is spectacular. You can see the channel and the mountains so well. His fresh homemade bread was just what we wanted. He even had firewood and kindling cut so a fire was very easy to make. We had everything we needed in the kitchen. The property is located above the main town center, so there is an uphill walk, but you're very close to hiking trails and you avoid the bustle of downtown (there is a lot of bustle, it is a cruise ship town). We would highly recommend the stay here.Verified This place was a great stay in Ushuaia! I enjoyed the bay views directly out the windows (lots of light during the long summer days!), and could easily walk to the town center for meals and activities. Alejandro was as friendly and responsive as could be! He was right there waiting for me when I arrived and helped carry my bags and to see me off. He was able to recommend his son, Nicolas, who is a fantastic tour guide, for a wonderful day around Ushuaia. And maybe the best part, he would bring me fresh baked bread and fresh rhubarb and currant jam that was delicious! He was always available for things such as making a fire or food recommendations. Such a kind person during my interactions with him and the place was so cozy. The heated floors were amazing after a long day hiking or exploring for someone who isn’t from a cold area. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay!

Realmente muy placentero despertarse con esa vista. Los dueños (Verónica y Alejandro), son muy atentos y siempre están a disposición. Muy recomendable!Verified so happy we stayed here We were in Argentina for a month at various locations, and this is the place that we still talk about... We spent almost a week here, and absolutely loved it. The cabins are gorgeous and so creatively built. Alejandro is a gem of a person- exudes good energy, so helpful, and takes great pride in his business (and bakes some darn good bread!). He paid for our cab from the airport, had a few staples for us in the fridge when we arrived, helped us get settled in, and was always available for questions. You couldn't ask for lovelier accommodations or view of the town. The absolute best feature of the cabin: divine heated floors!! We were glad our daughter was a bit older, as the stairs in the cabin are long and a bit steep and the loft is open but for a railing, but we all loved the layout. The main part of town is an easy 10 minute walk or $5 cab ride. We are already daydreaming of our next trip to Ushuaia, in part so that we can stay here again...Verified Un lugar ideal Fuimos en vacaciones de invierno y las cabañas son amplias, acogedoras....y super calefaccionadas! The cabin was spacious, with beautiful decor both inside and out, and a heated stone floor. There was plenty of space, and facilities to cook. The bathroom was gorgeous.
